Friday, January 21st

  • Psychedelic 60’s plays the Tap Room at the Griswold Inn in Essex from from 8-11pm. Enjoy this power trio as they pay tribute to the ground-breaking musical super groups of the sixties. Take this nostalgic trip and listen to the music of the Kinks, the Beatles, the Animals, Creedence Clearwater Revival…ROCK N’ ROLL!

Saturday, January 22nd

  • Saturday Winter Market in Durham at the Durham Activity Center (350 Main St.) from 10am-1 pm. For the full lineup of vendors, be sure to visit their Facebook page!
  • 28th Annual Holiday Train Show at the Connecticut River Museum in Essex. The show runs Tuesday – Sunday until February 20th. Come see what train artist Steve Cryan has created this year! A fully operational 26-foot train layout, “I SPY” scavenger hunts, and toddler sized viewing layout are all part of the fun!
  • FunHouse is playing at The Stand in Branford from 8pm-11pm.

Sunday, January 23rd

  • Make N’ Take Goat Milk Soap at Lyman Orchards in conjunction with Bradley Mountain Farm from 10am-1pm. Design goat milk soap your way! You will be able to choose your own fragrance and colors and can make one large box of soap that is enough for two personalized bars of soap to take home. The soap will be ready the next day and you can cut into two standard size bars, or as 4 guest size bars. Recommended ages 5 and up. $15 per person.
