Thursday, December 3rd
- Ladies Day & Night Shopping Event hosted by the Madison Chamber of Commerce from 12-8pm. Great deals and refreshments are the order of the day! If you prefer evening shopping, stop by at the former Khaki & Black (762 Boston Post Road) between 5 and 6:30pm, grab a free sip of Freixenet and shopping map, and head out to shop. This event is generously sponsored by Equitable Divorce Solutions and FreixenetMionettoUSA. Some stores will offer free refreshments OUTSIDE!
- Holiday Stroll shopping event on the Guilford Green from 12-7pm. Kickoff your holiday shopping with deal & specials at shops around the historic Guilford Green. Make a day of it with lunch or coffee at one of their many restaurants. Be sure to check out the Facebook event page to get all the info on special discounts!
- Take a trip to Wallingford and take in the Magic of Lights display at the Oakdale Theater! This event runs everyday through 1/2/2021 with the exception of being closed on New Years Eve. Times are Friday and Saturday from Dusk till 11:00pm and Sunday through Thursday from Dusk till 10:00pm. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $30 per vehicle Monday – Sunday or in advance for $20.
Friday, December 4th
- Magic of Lights display at the Oakdale Theater! This event runs everyday through 1/2/2021 with the exception of being closed on New Years Eve. Times are Friday and Saturday from Dusk till 11:00pm and Sunday through Thursday from Dusk till 10:00pm. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $30 per vehicle Monday – Sunday or in advance for $20.
- Lantern Light Village at the Mystic Seaport Museum from 5-9pm. Take a journey through time as you seamlessly transition between the Christmas you experience today and the Christmas of the past. Enjoy festive lighting displays, live music, horse and carriage rides, fire pits, a visitation from St. Nicholas, and more including holiday themed stories, crafts, and games! Purchase tickets in advance to secure the time and date of your choice!
- Holiday Drive-In Concert featuring the Larry Stevens Band hosted by Madison Beach and Rec at Salt Meadow Park beginning at 6pm. This is an hour long, “stay in your car” event with a special appearance by the big elf himself…Santa!
Saturday, December 5th

- History of Native Americans along the CT Coast is a virtual event hosted by Meigs Point Nature Center and the Friends of Hammonasset from 10-11am. Dr. Nick Bellantoni, retired state archeologist, shares the history of Native Americans along the CT coast including Hammonassett.
- Reindeer Goat Photos at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, hosted by Bradley Mountain Farms, from 10am – 3pm. Book your reservation for a great holiday photo!
- Outdoor Holiday Market hosted by the Madison Chamber of Commerce from 11am – 3pm. Visit the market on the sidewalks of Wall Street and Post Road in downtown Madison featuring artisans, crafts and specialty food purveyors.
- Touch a Truck at the Westbrook Outlets presented by Williams-Sonoma from 12-3pm. A Suggested Donation of $5.00 per child or $20.00 for a family off 4 or more with all proceeds going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
- Socially Distanced Photos with Santa hosted by the Madison Beach Hotel from 2-3:30pm. Free and open to the public. Bring your own camera. Weather Permitting. Will be rescheduled if rained out!
Sunday, December 6th
