- Earth Day Beach Clean-Up hosted by Indian River Shellfish of Madison. Grab a bag or a pail, a pair of gloves, and a mask and head to any beach or coastal area to help clean up! Keeping our beaches and coastline free of litter and debris, especially plastics and balloons, is vital to the health of the local ecosystems. Don’t forget to snap a few pics while you’re hard at work and be entered to win 1 dozen Hammonasset Point Oysters and 1 dozen clams! Visit there Facebook event page for the complete rules.
- Celebrate Earth Day at the Durham Farmer’s Market on the Town Green from 3:00-6:30pm. There will be planting demonstrations by Starlight Garden, a scavenger hunt for the children, specials from some of our vendors, music by Terri and Rob Duo and Christiano’s Fried Dough Truck!!!! Saturday, April 24th
- Green Up Clean Up Day hosted by the Town of Madison. Check in at the Memorial Town Hall, 8 Meetinghouse Lane; or Roberts Food Center in the North Madison Shopping Center from 8am – 12pm to pick up your supplies and then get to work helping to keep our community clean! When you have finished, bring the litter to the dumpsters at the Memorial Town Hall or at Robert’s Food Center. Sign up here.
- Paper Shredding Event hosted by the Madison Chamber of Commerce. Drive thru this paper shredding event from 9am – 12pm and get rid of unwanted/sensitive papers. $10 per box; $15 per oversized box. Pre-registration is encouraged: https://tinyurl.com/ue3bevd3

- Medication Take Back Event at the Clinton Police Department hosted by Partners in Community beginning at 10am. Dispose of any unused or unwanted medicationssafely and anonymously. You can even drop off pet meds that are no longer wanted.
- Powder Ridge Spring Market in Middlefield from 11am – 3pm. Craft, Artisan & small businesses will be there with unique handmade Spring items and Mother’s Day gifts. The market will be outdoors around the Beer Tent which will be open for brick oven pizza & beverages.

- Touch A Truck hosted by the Madison Newcomers Club at the Surf Club in Madison from 10am – 1pm. Join in the family fun at this annual event that allows you to get up close and personal with all sorts of larger-than-life vehicles. Masks will be required and covid restrictions will be followed!
- Sunday Jazz Brunch at Quattro’s in Guilford is back! Join the fun from 12-3pm.
