Shoreline Social Report: April 1 – April 4


Thursday, April 1st

  • Story Stroll at the E.C. Scranton Memorial Library in Madison beginning at 10am. Celebrate the beginning of spring by strolling along and reading from our picture book panels, starting at the front doors facing Boston Post Rd.

Friday, April 2nd

  • Live Music Friday Nights at the 1741 Pub & Grill in Middlefield! Featuring a new musician weekly from 5 – 8pm. On deck for the week is Kala Farnham.
  • First Fridays in Chester from 5-8pm. Stroll, shop and dine in town! Many shops will feature sales or special exhibitions- please visit individual businesses’ website for detailed information.
  • Visit the Easter Bunny at the Shore Line Trolley Museum in East Haven from 11am – 3pm. Trolleys leave to visit the Easter Bunny every hour. Social distancing and face coverings are required during your visit. Trolleys are cleaned between each visit.

Saturday, April 3rd

  • Baskets full of fun to be had at the 23rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt held at the Westbrook Outlets! This free, family fun hunt begins at 11am.
  • Bottomless Brunch at Little Pub in Old Saybrook from 11:30am – 3:00pm. All of your brunch favorites plus $25 bottomless mimosas and bloody marys!
  • Visit the Easter Bunny at the Shore Line Trolley Museum in East Haven from 11am – 3pm. Trolleys leave to visit the Easter Bunny every hour. Social distancing and face coverings are required during your visit. Trolleys are cleaned between each visit.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at Chapter One in Guilford at 10am and 1pm. $15 to participate. Adult tickets include a mimosa and a breakfast sandwich. Kids tickets include hot chocolate or chocolate milk and pancake sticks. Interested in their other menu options? You can instead choose to take 10% off your bill.

Sunday, April 4th

  • Bottomless Brunch at Little Pub in Old Saybrook from 11:30am – 3:00pm. All of your brunch favorites plus $25 bottomless mimosas and bloody marys!
  • Celebrate Easter with family from 12-5pm at Fire at the Ridge in Middlefield. Reservations are required and can be made here.
