It looks like this week’s snow storm is offering up the perfect opportunity to complete your (very short) monthly maintenance checklist for December. A quick visual once over on a few items and a good kitchen clean will have your house in tip-top shape for all of the baking and cooking to come!

To – Dos:

Interior:

• Clean garbage disposal
• Remove shower heads and clean out sediment
• Check sinks and toilets for leaks
• Inspect valves and hoses on washing machine
• Test CO2 and smoke detectors
• Clean microwave and oven
• Clean range hood and filter
• Inspect electrical outlets and cords for damage

Exterior:

• Keep an eye out for ice dams and icicles throughout the season
